Short Bio

Ori Davidov joined the Department of Statistics at the University of Haifa in 1999. He received a Sc.D. degree in Biostatistics from Harvard University in 1996, an M.S. degree in Statistics from Carnegie Mellon University, and prior to that he had been a Medical Student at the Hebrew University. He has held visiting positions at Merck Research Labs, Harvard University and the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) and his research has beem supported by the U.S-Israeli Bi-National Science Foundation (BSF), the Israeli Science Foundation (ISF), and the National Institutes of Health (NIH). He is an elected Fellow of International Institute of Statistics.

Research interests

Order restricted inference, methods and models for ranking and rating, nonparametric methods for multivariate and high dimensional data, case control studies and general statistical methodology.
